The Municipalidad de la Capital, through the Municipal Institute of Entrepreneurs (IME), has launched a new digital Single Registry platform. This centralized ecosystem is designed to simplify access to resources, training, and financing for independent workers.

The platform is structured into three main pillars: a georeferenced personal profile including education levels, a module for registering one or multiple commercial projects, and a comprehensive toolset. This toolset includes credit programs, technical assistance, and workshops provided by public, private, and third-sector organizations.

Cristian Ruiz, General Manager of the IME, stated that the system serves as a direct bridge between entrepreneurs and available tools. Additionally, the platform will allow the municipality to consolidate a formal registry to map and geolocate productive units within the capital to improve public policy planning.
