Municipal leaders in Coatepec and Ahome present government reports

In Coatepec, Mayor Jorge Ignacio Luna Hernández is scheduled to present his first report of activities on December 6. The administration reports an increase in infrastructure spending, rising from 60 million pesos in the previous administration to 84 million pesos currently. Key projects include drainage systems in Pacho Viejo, Tuzamapan, and La Orduña, as well as the rehabilitation of the Calzada del Cerro de las Culebras. Future plans include the construction of a new municipal cemetery and the creation of a Tourist Police force.

In Ahome, Mayor Antonio Menéndez De Llano Bermúdez presented his second government report. The administration highlighted achievements in health and education, including over 12,920 laboratory studies provided and the strengthening of 22 medical dispensaries with federal resources. The report also emphasized social programs such as 'Un Hogar sin Violencia' to promote a culture of peace through partnerships with educational institutions.
