Municipal leaders in Querétaro deliver second annual government reports

Municipal leaders in the state of Querétaro, Mexico, have submitted their second annual government reports to their respective councils.

In Colón, Mayor Gaspar Trueba Moncada delivered his second administration report during a solemn session of the Cabildo. The document outlines works, programs, and actions taken across 53 communities, focusing on human development, economy, sustainable development, and governance. The report will undergo analysis by council members before being presented publicly to citizens.

In Pedro Escobedo, Mayor Beto Nava reported the completion of 45 public works projects across 18 communities and the municipal seat. Key achievements include improvements to water, drainage, paving, and electrification. Nava noted a 27.22 percent increase in local revenue and stated the municipality has incurred zero public debt. Additional reported successes include social support programs, agricultural investments, and educational initiatives such as free student transportation.
