Municipal leadership appointments in Viborg and Kalundborg

Viborg Kommune has appointed Signe Valentin Bak as the new head of childcare services, effective October 1, 2026. Bak brings extensive leadership experience from her role in Struer Kommune, where she has managed childcare and health services since 2018. Her responsibilities will include overseeing the transition between childcare and school, coordinating preventive efforts, and managing complex family cases across the Children & Youth department.

In Kalundborg Kommune, Anitta Bugenhagen has been named the new chief of staff for the organizational staff, starting October 1. A lawyer by training, Bugenhagen moves from Odsherred Kommune, where she served as a department head in the City Council Secretariat. She will be responsible for several professional and organizational units, supporting the municipal council, the finance committee, and the executive management.
