Municipal legislative updates in Patrocínio and Rondonópolis

In Patrocínio, Mayor Gustavo Tambelini Brasileiro sanctioned Law 5.947 to name a public street after José Francisco de Moura Filho. Located between Avenida Jorge Elias Abrão and Avenida Dom Almir Marques, the street honors the former Brazilian Coffee Institute (IBC) technician who arrived in the region in the 1970s and contributed to the local coffee industry development.

In Rondonópolis, Mayor sanctioned Law 14.976 to reclassify a 301-square-meter institutional area in the Lúcia Maggi housing complex. The land will be repurposed for the future implementation of a public road.

Additionally, the Rondonópolis City Council has suspended the mandate of councilwoman Mariúva Valentin Chaves da Silva. This follows a precautionary decision by Judge Helena Maria Bezerra Ramos of the Court of Justice of Mato Grosso (TJMT), which prevents the councilwoman from performing parliamentary duties or using official municipal resources.
