Municipal Newspapers Launch August Editions in Slovakia and Serbia

The city of Trenčín in Slovakia released its August issue of the municipal newspaper INFO Trenčín. The edition includes interviews with local personalities, updates on infrastructure projects such as the railway station reconstruction and school improvements, details of upcoming cultural events in the European Summer of Culture 2026, and information on municipal investments in communications and public spaces.

In Serbia, the August issue of the newspaper Hlas ľudu was published, featuring the Summer Creative Workshops at the Kovačica Community Library, a weekly overview of Serbian presidential activities, reports on the Danube situation, and plans for Slovakia's participation in Expo 2027. The supplement also contains an agricultural review covering animal diseases, irrigation restrictions, and pest control, as well as sports coverage of the European Table Tennis Championships.

Both publications aim to inform residents about local events, cultural programs, and municipal initiatives for the month of August.
