Municipal Officials Exchange Seized Alcohol for Food for Community Centers

The municipal Secretariat of Urban and Operational Control, led by Miguel Gómez, seized a large quantity of illegally sold alcoholic beverages during a raid on an unlicensed shop. Judge Leopoldo Puricelli authorized the confiscated alcohol to be exchanged for non‑perishable food items. The exchanged food was then distributed to various community spaces across the city, coordinated with the Secretariat of Human Development and Family.

The operation, carried out on a Friday morning, aimed to turn seized contraband into resources for local social assistance programs, providing immediate support to neighborhoods in need.
