Municipal police seize marijuana plants from irrigation canal

Municipal police officers from the Distrito Oriente district seized several marijuana plants, approximately 1.5 meters in height, located inside an irrigation canal. The operation took place at the intersection of Teófilo Borunda Boulevard and Paseo de la Victoria in the Bosques del Sol neighborhood following a citizen report.

This incident marks the third time this year that cannabis plants have been discovered within the same drainage canal, locally known as 'Dren 2A'. Previous findings in the same area occurred in July, where large plants were also identified by residents and authorities.
