Municipal security agents receive specialized training in Chile and Argentina

Municipal security and transit agents in Frutillar, Chile, and Goya, Argentina, have participated in specialized training programs to enhance public safety and road culture.

In Frutillar, municipal public security inspectors underwent training titled ‘Crime Scene Management and Evidence Preservation.’ Led by experts from the LABOCAR section of the Carabineros de Chile in the Los Lagos Region, the program focused on the correct handling of crime scenes and the protection of critical evidence. Local authorities noted that Frutillar is the first municipality in Chile to provide this specific type of training to municipal security inspectors.

In Goya, Argentina, transit agents and technical teams participated in a training session focused on security and road culture under the ‘Safe Municipality’ program. The initiative was organized by the Institute of Criminal Sciences of the National University of the Northeast (UNNE) as part of a university extension project. The program aims to strengthen road safety and prevention policies through continuous education and professional development.
