Municipal services report high demand in Argentina and free ID campaigns in Peru

In Argentina, the Municipal Pediatric Guard reported that June saw the highest demand for its services this year. Between January and August 2026, the facility provided a total of 9,117 consultations for infants, children, and adolescents. The service operates 24 hours a day and offers free care to minors under 14 who do not have private health insurance.

In Peru, Reniec is launching a campaign to provide free National Identity Documents (DNI) in five districts of Metropolitan Lima that were recently affected by heavy rains. The campaign includes Villa El Salvador, San Juan de Miraflores, San Juan de Lurigancho, Chorrillos, and Villa María del Triunfo. Services will be held at municipal buildings and health centers to facilitate access to documentation for residents impacted by the weather.
