Municipal traffic restrictions imposed in Champigny, France and Saint‑Joseph‑de‑Beauce, Canada

The city of Champigny in France will carry out vertical and horizontal signalling works on all municipal roads from 29 July to 23 October 2026. During this period parking is prohibited in the work zones, vehicle speed is limited to 30 km/h, overtaking is banned (except for two‑wheelers) and traffic may be reduced to a single lane or alternate flow depending on street configuration. Pedestrians and persons with reduced mobility will be redirected to the opposite sidewalk or use temporary crossings.

In Saint‑Joseph‑de‑Beauce, Quebec, the municipality announced a temporary closure of a local bike path. The notice advises cyclists and pedestrians to avoid the affected section while maintenance is performed, with alternative routes indicated by municipal signage.
