Municipal transit authorities announce road closures and traffic changes

Municipal transit authorities in Brazil have announced various road changes and restrictions. In Campo Grande, Agetran has scheduled road closures from October 8 to 12. In the central area, the parking lane on Rua Marechal Rondon, near number 1,380, will be blocked throughout October 8 and 9, though vehicle traffic will continue to flow in other lanes. In the Anhanduizinho region, Rua Filomena Segundo Nascimento will be closed between Rua Júlia Pereira de Souza and Rua Waldemar With on the morning of October 9, from 7:00 to 11:00.

In Recife, the CTTU has modified traffic circulation on Avenida Jean-Emile Favre in Ipsep following technical studies and public feedback. The street will return to a two-way traffic model with two lanes in each direction, except for the section between the Rua Costa e Silva intersection and Avenida Recife, which remains one-way toward Avenida Recife. Additionally, the ‘Faixa Azul’ exclusive lane has been deactivated to improve vehicle flow and neighborhood access.
