Municipal University Center and road maintenance updates reported in Argentina and Peru

In Tolhuin, Argentina, the Centro Universitario Municipal presented its academic and vocational offerings at the Expo Carreras y Oficios 2026. The initiative aims to connect students and residents with higher education opportunities. In collaboration with the Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia San Juan Bosco, the center offers degrees such as a Bachelor in Political Science and a Technical degree in Cultural Management and Mediation. Additionally, programs like Digital Literacy and Construction Project Management are being developed alongside the Universidad Nacional de Tierra del Fuego.

In Peru, IIRSA Norte reported on road maintenance and priority works during the 59th Ordinary Session of the Road Network Users Council. The report focused on the Dv. Olmos–Lambayeque section, detailing interventions to improve safety and transitability. Key actions include deep and superficial pothole repairs in Mochumí, Túcume, Jayanca, Íllimo, Pacora, and Motupe, as well as the rehabilitation of the stretch between kilometers 66 and 86. Other works involve replacing horizontal and vertical signage and maintaining bridges and culverts.
