Municipal updates in Campos Novos and Monte Belo do Sul

In Campos Novos, the Municipal Chamber has extended the deadline for entities and organizations to register demands and submit work plans for the 2027 Annual Budget Law (LOA). The new deadline is September 30. Approximately R$ 4 million is allocated for individual mandatory amendments, with each council member receiving an estimated R$ 444,440, of which 50% must be applied to healthcare. Additionally, roughly R$ 3.1 million is estimated for bench mandatory amendments.

Meanwhile, in Monte Belo do Sul, the municipal government is developing the Municipal Plan for Early Childhood (PMPI). The initiative invites families, professionals, and civil society representatives to contribute via available forms. The process has already included social listening sessions with local children, who participated in activities at the city hall and expressed their ideas through drawings to help shape future local policies.
