Municipalities implement new urban mobility and transport initiatives

In Venezuela, municipal authorities are evaluating new cargo unloading schedules for the Bicentenario and Bolívar avenues to prevent traffic congestion in the central district. Proposed windows for unloading goods are set for 07:00 to 09:00 and 19:00 to 21:00. Additionally, officials plan to conduct studies on transport frequency and visual occupancy to potentially relocate certain public transport routes.

In Spain, the Las Rozas de Madrid City Council is celebrating European Mobility Week by offering free services. From September 16 to 22, the municipal network managed by Las Rozas Innova will provide free charging at 56 electric vehicle charging points. The initiative also includes free use of secure parking for bicycles and scooters in the Las Matas and Parque Empresarial multimodal mobility areas to encourage sustainable transport.
