Municipalities implement public lighting and electrical maintenance upgrades

Municipalities in Spain and the Dominican Republic have conducted electrical infrastructure improvements to enhance public lighting and safety.

In Cheste, Spain, the Municipal Brigade has performed maintenance tasks including replacing wiring on Pérez Galdós Street and in Plaza Europa. Additionally, workers repaired the electrical installation at the road safety circuit in La Lomiquia Park and fixed a streetlamp on Chiva Street that was damaged in a vehicle collision.

In the Los Tres Brazos sector of Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic, the Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Este (EDEEste) completed a public lighting project. The investment of RD$616,932.18 focused on recovering and improving illumination along several major routes, including Avenida Ozama, Avenida Prolongación Venezuela, and Avenida Presidente Hugo Chávez, to improve visibility and security for residents.
