Municipalities in Alentejo hold public sessions for health and budget planning
The municipality of Redondo held a participatory session to develop its Municipal Health Strategy. Representatives from various local and regional entities, including the Portuguese Red Cross, the Redondo Volunteer Firefighters, and the Alentejo Central Local Health Unit, met to identify health determinants and prioritize interventions for the region.
In Viana do Alentejo, the local government is launching the ‘Ouvir para Decidir’ (Listen to Decide) initiative. Scheduled between October 26 and 28, these public sessions aim to gather citizen input for the municipality’s major plan options and budget. Meetings are set to take place in Aguiar, Alcáçovas, and Viana do Alentejo to foster dialogue regarding local investments and priorities.
