Municipalities in South America launch various public works and maintenance projects
Various municipalities across South America are implementing diverse public works and maintenance programs to improve urban infrastructure and services.
In Argentina, the Municipality of Río Grande has begun renovating the Costanera del Cristo area with new lighting, parking, and road improvements. Meanwhile, Ushuaia is conducting extensive snow removal and cleaning operations through its 'Operativo Invierno' to maintain road accessibility and public spaces following recent snowfall. In Salta, the 'Guarda Plazas' program is being launched to deploy specialized personnel for the daily maintenance and security of public parks and green spaces.
In Paraguay, the Municipality of Asunción has deployed urban service crews for cleaning and beautification tasks in neighborhoods such as Ytay. In Ecuador, the Municipality of Ambato is executing a maintenance plan for 12 market centers, including the installation of a new 60-cubic-meter water cistern for automated fire protection at the Mercado Central.
