Municipalities in Argentina and Spain implement solar energy projects
In San Salvador, Argentina, the local municipality and Enersa are collaborating on a photovoltaic park project. The facility is expected to have a capacity between 300 and 500 kWp, aiming to diversify local energy supply and reduce emissions. Additionally, Enersa has provided electrical and lighting materials to several local sports clubs, including Club Atlético Progreso Unidos, Club Deportivo Ferrocarril, and Club Sportivo San Salvador, to improve facility safety and usage hours.
In Huelva, Spain, the City Council has awarded a contract to IMAS Energía Renovable to install a 438.75 kWp solar plant at the Carolina Marín Sports Palace. The project, funded in part by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), is designed to power the building's own consumption without producing surpluses. The installation will also include two 22 kW electric vehicle charging points and an information screen to monitor energy consumption and benefits.
