Municipalities in Argentina announce waste management schedules

Municipalities in Argentina are implementing various waste management and urban cleaning schedules. In Mar del Plata, the Punto Verde Móvil will operate this Thursday from 10:00 to 13:00 at Plaza José Hernández in the Los Pinares neighborhood. The program accepts recyclable materials, including electronic waste, used vegetable oil, batteries, and eyewear, in exchange for municipal tree saplings through the ‘Adoptá un Árbol’ program.

In Escobar, the local government has released a weekly schedule for the collection of branches and pruning debris. Residents in Loma Verde may deposit branches between August 10 and August 16, with collection occurring from August 17 to August 22. In Garín, residents of the Cabot, Amad, San Javier, and Los Tilos neighborhoods can deposit branches from August 14 to August 20, with collection scheduled from August 21 to August 23. Municipal regulations require that debris does not obstruct roads or drains and does not exceed one cubic meter in volume.
