Municipalities in Bahia inaugurate new water and health infrastructure
Municipal administrations in Bahia are implementing new infrastructure projects to improve local services. In Baianópolis, Mayor Weube Febrônio inaugurated an artesian well in the rural community of Mandacaru to address historical water scarcity. This marks the sixth well delivered by the current administration, five of which were funded through municipal resources.
In Candeias, Mayor Eriton Ramos inaugurated a requalified Basic Health Unit (UBS) in the Mamão district as part of the municipality's 68th-anniversary celebrations. The facility includes a pharmacy, vaccine room, dental office, and medical consultation rooms. This unit is the first of six planned health center deliveries scheduled by the local government.
