Municipalities in Brazil announce public auctions for land and various assets

The City of Marília, through its Secretariat of Urban Planning, has scheduled an online auction for November 16, 2026. The municipality intends to auction eight idle land plots located in various neighborhoods, including Jardim Veneza, Residencial Terras da Fazenda, and Residencial Montana. The city expects to raise at least R$ 7,099,523.25 from these sales, with proceeds earmarked for public asset acquisition, infrastructure investments, administrative modernization, and other public interest projects.

In São Bento do Sul, Santa Catarina, a public auction is set for October 23 at 10:00 AM, featuring 33 lots of vehicles, equipment, furniture, and other goods. The total estimated value of the items is R$ 255,000. Notable lots include a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter ambulance, a Volkswagen Amarok, and a collection of 4,136 vinyl records. The auction will allow for both online and in-person participation.
