Municipalities in Brazil inaugurate new public leisure and sports spaces

Municipalities in Brazil have inaugurated new public leisure and sports facilities. In Marabá, the City Hall delivered the Arena Cidade Jardim, a 5,621 m² complex designed for sports and community integration. The facility includes sand volleyball courts, a synthetic grass society football field, a basketball court, table tennis, a walking track, an outdoor gym, and children's playgrounds.

In Maceió, authorities revitalized the recreational area at Posto 7 on the Jatiúca beachfront. The upgrades feature a 140 m² interactive fountain with LED lighting and a water recycling system, a new playground, restored grassy areas, and new seating for families. The project aims to expand the use of the traditional waterfront area for social gatherings and picnics beyond its usual role for physical activities.
