Municipalities in Brazil offer free health services and vaccinations
The city of Goiânia is providing free health services during the Viva Goiânia Festival to celebrate the capital's 93rd anniversary. Located on Avenida Goiás, the municipal health department's stand will offer blood pressure and glucose monitoring, oral health guidance, and mental health information through the Cuca Fresca program. Additionally, rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats will be available, alongside information on women's health and cancer prevention.
Several basic health units in various regions of Goiânia, including Grajaú, Jardim Curitiba I, Luana Park, Jardim Dom Fernando, and Vila Redenção, will also be open for scheduled appointments.
In Limeira, São Paulo, the local government is conducting a vaccination campaign during the 16th Queima do Alho event. Held at the Associação de Reabilitação Infantil Limeirense (Aril), the initiative provides various immunizations, including those for influenza, COVID-19, hepatitis B, yellow fever, meningitis ACWY, and HPV. Specific doses for dengue, polio, and bronchiolitis are also available for eligible age groups, provided attendees bring their vaccination records.
