Rondonópolis begins construction of two new urban viaducts

The Mato Grosso State Secretariat of Infrastructure and Logistics (Sinfra-MT) has commenced the construction of two new urban viaducts in Rondonópolis to alleviate traffic congestion. The total investment for these projects is R$ 83 million.

The first viaduct, budgeted at R$ 17.9 million, is located at the intersection of Avenida Fernando Correa with Avenida Lions Internacional and Avenida Otaviano Muniz. Construction has begun by the Planex-Ingá Consortium, with an expected completion date in late 2027. This 204-meter structure is situated near a bridge over the Rio Vermelho.

The second viaduct, estimated at R$ 75 million, will be built at the junction of Avenida dos Estudantes (MT-270), the Ring Road (Anel Viário), and Avenida Governador Júlio Campos. The contract for this 384-meter project was awarded to the TF MT-270 Consortium following a bidding process finalized in late September.
