Municipalities in Elvas and Marabá invest in new sanitation equipment
The municipality of Elvas has expanded its fleet with three new vehicles, representing an investment of approximately 350,000 euros. The new equipment includes a sweeper, a 115-horsepower tractor, and an open-box truck with a tipper. These additions aim to improve urban cleaning, waste collection, and public space maintenance. This acquisition is part of a larger investment exceeding 1.5 million euros intended to renew the municipality's operational resources.
In Marabá, the local government delivered new equipment to the Environmental Sanitation Service (SSAM). The delivery included two roll-off trucks, 40 stationary skips, and two mini-tractors for mowing. These tools are intended to increase agility in collecting construction debris and improving the maintenance of parks and gardens while providing better working conditions for sanitation professionals.
