Municipalities in Honduras and Mexico advance infrastructure projects

In San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Mayor Roberto Contreras and the Municipal Corporation received three proposals to name a new boulevard connecting various sectors to Chamelecón. During a public forum, residents proposed the names ‘Bulevar Infop’, ‘Bulevar La Providencia’, and ‘Bulevar Los Emprendedores’. The final decision will be made during the next municipal session.

In San Pedro Cholula, Mexico, Mayor Tonantzin Fernández Díaz launched a paving project on 8 Norte Street in the Barrio de Jesús. The project aims to rehabilitate approximately 1,900 square meters of roadway that had become too damaged for simple pothole repairs. The works will also include park rehabilitation and the installation of new lighting in the area.
