Municipalities in Mexico and Argentina provide local community funding

In San Francisco del Rincón, Mexico, Mayor Toño Marún led the distribution of the “Pinta tu Hogar” program. With an investment of 500,000 pesos, the initiative provided painting materials to over 200 residents to improve home conditions. Additionally, the municipality distributed 100 water tanks, bringing the total to 700 out of a planned 1,750 for the program.

In Concepción del Uruguay, Argentina, Mayor José Eduardo Lauritto delivered economic contributions to several local institutions. ARENE received funds to improve building security and exterior surroundings. The Sociedad Rural received support for its upcoming rural exhibition, and the “Dra. Carolina Tobar García” Teacher Training Institute will use its allocation to produce theatrical works for approximately 1,500 children across 70 educational and community spaces.
