Municipalities in Mexico and Los Cabos implement road repair programs

Local governments are conducting extensive road maintenance and repair operations to improve urban mobility and safety.

In Tampico, the “VAcheando” program, a joint effort between COMAPA Sur and the City Council, is addressing accumulated pothole issues. The initiative has benefited 36 neighborhoods, including Morelos, Cascajal, Lomas del Chairel, and several others, utilizing specialized equipment and technical personnel to restore road infrastructure.

In Cabo San Lucas, the XV Los Cabos City Council, through the Public Services Coordination, is rehabilitating streets across various colonies. Recent works include street rehabilitation in Mesa Colorada, sediment removal in Los Cangrejos, and surface repairs in the Jacarandas and Caribe neighborhoods to ensure safer circulation for both pedestrians and motorists.
