Municipalities in Niğde and Sultangazi launch infrastructure projects

Niğde Municipality has commenced the foundation stage of the ‘Dışarı Cami Parking and Landscaping Project.’ Following the completion of property arrangements, including the expropriation of 120 residences and the demolition of five buildings, the project aims to alleviate city center traffic congestion and preserve the historical integrity of the Dışarı Mosque. The development will include a multi-story parking garage, an expanded mosque courtyard, a new square, and modern rest areas, including a social facility for retirees.

In Sultangazi, the municipality is advancing the construction of the Naim Süleymanoğlu Youth Sports and Life Center. Named after the legendary weightlifter, the facility is designed to host international competitions and will feature a 1,500-capacity sports hall, a swimming pool, fitness centers, a library, and workshops. To address local parking needs, the center will also include a 300-vehicle indoor parking garage.
