Municipalities in Portugal announce infrastructure investments
The municipality of Pombal has approved approximately 3.8 million euros for urbanism and sanitation projects. This includes over one million euros for the rehabilitation and expansion of the Casa Carlos Alberto Mota Pinto to create a space for knowledge and solidarity. Additionally, a public tender has been opened for the construction of the Parque Verde dos Carvalhos in Vila Cã, valued at approximately 795,000 euros, and a domestic sanitation network in Casal da Clara has been awarded for more than 1.47 million euros.
In Alter, the requalification of the Padre José Agostinho Rodrigues School is entering its final stages, with completion expected by the end of the year. The 5.5 million euro project is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). Local authorities and regional representatives recently met to review the progress of the works and discuss financial solutions for essential expenses not included in the initial application.
