Municipalities in Roatán and Chillán implement local infrastructure projects

In Roatán, Honduras, Mayor Ronnie McNab inaugurated the Big Run bridge in the El Ticket neighborhood. Funded by the municipality, the project aims to improve local infrastructure, urban aesthetics, and safety, particularly during the rainy season. The mayor noted that this project is part of a broader transformation plan for Coxen Hole, which includes upcoming works to improve water flow near Carwash Walter to prevent flooding, leveling the Julio Galindo stadium, and upgrading public parks.

In Chillán, Chile, the municipal government has been replacing damaged urban furniture across various city locations. The Department of Ornato has focused on repairing and replacing seats, swings, and chains in areas such as Monterrico street, Villa Barcelona, and Parque Oriente. Mayor Camilo Benavente stated that these maintenance efforts are intended to ensure the safety of children and the community in recreational spaces ahead of the spring season.
