Municipalities in Saint-Vallier and Nérac announce local infrastructure projects

Municipalities in France are reporting various infrastructure and school renovation projects following the summer break.

In Saint-Vallier, Mayor Alain Philibert and a delegation of officials inspected several school groups to review summer works. Key updates include renovations at Marie Curie School, including sanitary facilities and roof repairs, and significant investments at the Irène and Frédéric Joliot Curie School totaling over €100,000 for catering creation and woodwork. Other schools, such as Casanova and the Goujons group, received upgrades to playgrounds, furniture, and equipment.

In Nérac, Mayor Nicolas Lacombe outlined upcoming municipal projects. Notable developments include the renovation of the Jean-Rostand school playground, designed in collaboration with student delegates. The city is also focusing on urban beautification and infrastructure, with street works on Rue Pusoque nearing completion and upcoming vegetation projects on Rue Sèderie. Additionally, water network and road repairs are scheduled for Avenue Foch, Rue Latapie, and Rue de Nazareth.
