Municipalities in Spain and Argentina modernize public services
Municipalities in Spain and Argentina are implementing administrative reforms to modernize public services and improve citizen interaction.
In Castellón, Spain, the City Council is renovating its Tax Collection Office on Gobernador Street. The project, expected to be operational before October 15, includes a comprehensive remodeling to expand the waiting area and reduce queues. This physical renovation coincides with the introduction of a new digital tool designed to increase the number of procedures citizens can complete via the Electronic Office, aiming for more efficient service.
In Bariloche, Argentina, the local government has announced the creation of a Unique and Centralized System for Fiscal Certifications. This new digital platform, authorized by Mayor Walter Cortés, aims to streamline the issuance of debt-free certificates, including general, traffic, and real estate-related certifications. The system will be managed through the Department of Taxpayer Services, and the new regulations are set to take effect within 30 days.
