Municipalities in Venezuela implement urban infrastructure projects
Municipal authorities in Venezuela are implementing various infrastructure and urban renewal projects. In Maturín, the local government has begun transforming public transport stops along Av. Libertador. The project involves installing 11 new structures designed to provide better protection from sun and rain, featuring amenities such as seating, electrical outlets, internal lighting, and route information to improve the commuter experience.
In Caracas, Mayor Carmen Meléndez announced the completion of the ‘Plan Venezuela Renace’ at Residencias Arboleda in the San Bernardino parish. The project, which involved 65 workers, provided comprehensive repairs to the 1963 building, benefiting 40 families through wall reinforcement, painting, roofing, and sanitation of common areas. Additionally, municipal inspections are ongoing in the El Valle parish to oversee infrastructure improvements at the Fray Pedro de Ágreda National Educational Unit, aimed at supporting 890 students.
