Municipalities launch early childhood development initiatives

Municipalities in Spain are implementing various initiatives focused on early childhood development and physical activity.

In Chiva, the Municipal Sports Schools have launched 'Juegos Psicomotrices,' a program designed for children born in 2021 and 2022. The initiative aims to develop coordination, balance, and spatial orientation through adapted circuits and games. Sessions are held at Colegio Dr. Corachán and Colegio Martínez Culla.

Meanwhile, Ondara has completed a renovation of the playground at the Escoleta Municipal Joaquina Gavilà. With an investment of approximately 6,000 euros, the project added new stimulation equipment for children aged 0 to 3, including animal-shaped spring riders and a stimulation circuit. The new installations comply with European safety standards (UNE-EN 1176).
