Municipality of Athens launches free tutoring for students

The Municipality of Athens has announced the reopening of its Social Tutoring Center, providing free educational support to middle and high school students from underprivileged or economically disadvantaged families. The program aims to help students improve academic performance and assist those preparing for Panhellenic Examinations to enter higher education.

Classes are held in small groups on weekday afternoons at the new building of the 41st Gymnasium of Athens in Kato Patisia. The center is also calling for volunteer teachers to support the 2026-2027 school year. Registration for interested parents and guardians can be completed in person at the center's secretariat.
