Municipality of Centar hosts first municipal half marathon

The Municipality of Centar, in collaboration with ‘Prv do Vrv’, is organizing the ‘Centar Night Run’, the first municipal half marathon in the country. The event is scheduled to take place in Skopje on September 12, 2026.

The race is set to begin at 18:00, with participants running through the central streets of the municipality in an evening atmosphere. Centar Mayor Goran Gerasimovski invited citizens and sports enthusiasts to participate, stating that the goal is to promote running, an active lifestyle, and community connection.

Following the conclusion of the race, the event will continue at the Park of Francophonie with a musical performance titled ‘Neshto shto kje ostane’, transitioning the sporting event into a larger social gathering.
