Municipality of Chania secures land for new Perivolia school

The Municipality of Chania has signed a contract to purchase a plot of land near the Perivolia Primary School. This site is designated for new educational facilities to be developed through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP).

The project includes the construction of the new 1st Perivolia Kindergarten and the expansion of the existing Primary School. This initiative aims to replace current prefabricated classrooms with modern, permanent structures, addressing existing housing pressure within the school.

This development is part of a broader program by the Municipality of Chania to construct eight new school units via PPP, which also includes a new Music School, a new Experimental School, and facilities for Special Primary Schools.
