Municipality of Córdoba launches online duplicate tax payment process

The Municipality of Córdoba has launched an online procedure to allow residents to resolve duplicate municipal tax payments. This digital service, titled ‘Recursos Tributarios – Pago Doble’, is part of a broader modernization strategy to simplify administrative tasks for citizens.

Under this system, the municipality will administratively review claims of duplicate payments. If verified, the excess amount will be credited as a compensation toward another tax of the taxpayer's choice.

To complete the process via the Digital Procedures platform, users must provide the month and year of the duplicate payments, the period for which the compensation will be applied, and the specific tax to which the credit should be directed. Required documentation includes payment tickets and identifying information such as vehicle registration, commercial CUIT, taxi license numbers, or cadastral nomenclature for real estate.
