Municipality of Elis acquires new bucket truck for public services

The Municipality of Elis has acquired a new specialized bucket truck to enhance its public services. The vehicle is intended to support both the Lighting Department and the Greenery Department, serving the city of Amaliada as well as all other communities within the municipality.

The procurement was funded entirely through the ‘Philodimos II’ program, meaning there was no cost to the municipal budget or local taxpayers. This follows a recent acquisition of a new tractor through the same funding source.

Deputy Mayor of Cleanliness, Greenery, and Recycling, Dinos Trikogias, stated that the administration is focused on modernizing equipment to ensure municipal services respond to citizens' needs with increased speed and safety. The official handover was conducted by Trikogias, the Director of the Cleanliness, Greenery, and Lighting Service, Nikolaos Tsakonas, and the staff responsible for operating the vehicle.
