Municipality of Katerini accelerates road repairs at gas sites

The Municipality of Katerini is implementing new measures to manage road cleaning and infrastructure repairs at natural gas network construction sites. In collaboration with the construction company, the municipality has secured a commitment for systematic road cleaning at the contractor's expense to mitigate dust issues for residents.

Deputy Mayor Nikos Tsiamperas announced that the deadline for repairing road cuts has been reduced from 20 days to just 5 days. Additionally, the municipality has scheduled extensive asphalt paving and sidewalk construction projects to begin in December.
