Municipality of Kos to convene committee meeting on local projects

The Municipal Committee of Kos is scheduled to convene via videoconference on October 9, 2026, to address eight agenda items regarding local administration and infrastructure.

Key topics include the acceptance of €59,520 in funding for the Kos Municipal Urban Resilience Plan under the Green Fund’s Environmental Balance Actions program. The committee will also review protocols for the installation of a dome for sports facilities in Dikoi, Kos, and Iraklidion, and approve the results for the Special Olympics Hellas cycling games scheduled for mid-October 2026.

Additional business involves approving procurement evaluations for cleaning supplies and municipal vehicles, as well as reviewing an environmental impact study for the construction and operation of the Aldiana Kos hotel, a 5-star facility with an 810-bed capacity.
