Municipality of Mytilene launches second annual Open University

The Municipality of Mytilene has announced the launch of its 'Municipal Open University' for the second consecutive year. This initiative is part of a memorandum of cooperation with the University of the Aegean.

The upcoming program, titled ‘Man, Society and Technology’, is scheduled to begin on October 24 at the Central Lyceums of Mytilene. The 45-day program will offer 12 hours of training to 140 participants. Registration opens on October 12, and the courses are provided free of charge to all residents of the Municipality of Mytilene to promote intellectual and educational development through access to University of the Aegean experts.

Additionally, a credited training program regarding ‘Social Problems and Local Development’ is being organized in collaboration with the University of the Aegean’s Center for Training and Lifelong Learning.
