Querétaro repairs 27,000 potholes, restores 110,000 m² of streets in 2026

The Municipality of Querétaro’s Public Works Secretariat reported that, since the start of the current administration, 27,729 potholes have been repaired and 110,918 m² of road surface – equivalent to 1,459 km – have been rehabilitated across the city’s seven delegations. In 2026 alone, 10,301 potholes and 41,206 m² (542 km) of streets were addressed.

Citizen reports played a major role: 6,280 repairs this year resulted from calls to the 070 hotline, a municipal chatbot, social‑media messages and on‑site inspections. The most‑worked streets include Plateros, Avenida Revolución, Hacienda Escolásticas, the side lanes of Bernardo Quintana and Federal Highway 57. The municipality continues to urge residents to report potholes through the 070 line or other digital channels so that repairs can be completed within 24 hours.

These actions are part of an ongoing plan to maintain safe, well‑kept roadways for Querétaro’s residents.
