Murasaki Sports to open large indoor skate park in Fukuoka

Murasaki Sports has announced the grand opening of Murasaki Park Tenjin Street Store and the Coffee Murasaki cafe in the Tenjin area of Fukuoka City on October 30, 2026. Located near Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station, the facility is designed as a community hub for action sports culture.

The complex will feature one of Kyushu’s largest indoor skate parks, consisting of both street and park sections, intended to host everything from beginner lessons to major competitions like the Japan Skateboarding Championships. The site will also offer an extensive selection of skateboarding equipment and rental services for items such as Strider scooters.

The opening will be marked by a multi-day event running from October 30 to November 1, 2026. The festivities include performances and talk sessions featuring world-class professional skateboarders, including Olympic medalist Yuto Horigome.
