Çalık, who has been deprived of his liberty for 524 days, noted that he has faced significant legal, political, and health challenges during his detention. He stated that his focus remains on responding to the allegations against him and seeking justice through the court system. He asserted that his political path is guided by principles rather than personal interests or titles.

Reports also noted the presence of Çalık's mother, Gülseren Çalık, at the Silivri courthouse during recent hearings. Additionally, discussions surrounding the legal case have touched upon interactions between Çalık and businessman Uğur Güngör regarding project approvals.
