Murat Sağlam rollerblades 4,500 km from Frankfurt to Ankara
Murat Sağlam, a German of Turkish origin, is undertaking a 4,500-kilometer rollerblading journey from Frankfurt to Ankara. While the expedition aims to set a world record, Sağlam emphasizes that his primary mission is to serve as an ambassador of humanity and to inspire children to believe in themselves and pursue their goals.
During his journey, Sağlam has traveled through Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He recently arrived in Novi Pazar, where he expressed deep appreciation for the hospitality and energy of the local citizens. He noted that throughout his travels, he has encountered people of various nationalities, religions, and cultures who have shown him kindness and support.
Sağlam covers approximately 100 kilometers per day, with plans to increase his pace to 150 kilometers daily while traveling through Greece. His route continues through Kosovo and North Macedonia before reaching his final destination in Turkey.
