Muratpaşa District Governor İhsan Kara passes away

İhsan Kara, the District Governor of Muratpaşa in Antalya, has died following a sudden health emergency at his home. According to Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, Kara suffered a heart attack around 01:30. Despite being rushed to the Antalya Training and Research Hospital, medical teams were unable to save him.

A career bureaucrat, Kara graduated from Ankara University in 1986 and held various administrative roles, including serving as Deputy Governor of Batman and working within the Ministry of Interior. He had been serving in Muratpaşa since July 29, 2024. A formal ceremony will be held at the Government House before his body is transported to Konya for burial.
