Muratpaşa Mayor Ümit Uysal honors students and discusses technological modernization

Muratpaşa Mayor Ümit Uysal recently engaged in two distinct public activities in Antalya. First, he honored 16 students from the Muratpaşa Youth Education Center (MURGEM) and Support Education Courses for their academic success in the 2026 YKS and LGS exams. The students, who placed in various qualified universities and high schools, received gift vouchers to celebrate their achievements in fields ranging from engineering to aviation.

Separately, Uysal met with readers at the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss the third expanded edition of his book, ‘Republic Reborn in the 21st Century – The New Stage of Modernization in the Age of Artificial Intelligence’. During the event, Uysal emphasized the necessity of a new development movement in Turkey, spanning production, technology, education, and law. He argued that artificial intelligence is a reality reshaping economic orders and that political independence must be supported by economic sovereignty and production capacity.
